How do I be more patient?

Its going to take me at least a couple years maybe even more before I can afford and am in a safe place to transition medically and socially. I feel like the more I wait the more angry and sad and depressed. It’s killing me that I have to wait so long to actually LIVE. Do any of you guys have any advice on how to cope with waiting because I’m not coping all that well 😞
