AI Is Changing the Game for E-Commerce Live Streaming - any thoughts?
I’ve been seeing some wild advancements lately in how AI is being used in e-commerce live streaming. with akool live camera, streamers can now translate speech in real time (with natural lip sync!) use branded virtual avatars to represent their brand or personality, and change faces dynamically, removing appearance barriers.
This tech removes so many limitations, like language, appearance, even availability. It’s making livestream selling more scalable and global than ever. Creators can get really creative now, and brands can localize content fast.
But it also raises questions: What about trust and transparency? Will customers know they're talking to an avatar? And are platforms (like TikTok Shop, Amazon Live, etc.) ready with clear policies to handle AI hosts and deepfake?
