How to dopamine detox from food
I had recently heard about soma pine detox and realized that it’s exactly what I need to get my life back on track, so I cut off completely social media, video games, tv shows etc. I seemed to be doing just fine. Last night I thought about it and realized that the reason I was doing fine (I mean sure I was pretty bored at times) was because my main source of dopamine - food, was untouched. For the past 2 years or so the peak of my day was when I got to eat, any kind of food honestly, sure I have some things I prefer but generally even a vegetable would do it. So much so that I subconsciously doubled my meal time. A sandwich that used to take me 10 minutes or less to eat will now take me at best 20. The thing is I eat very healthy, I mean no sugary or fatty food, and I only snack fruit of vegetables throughout the day. All I would wait for throughout the day was for my next meal when I could sit down, open YouTube and eat. Once I had finished I would basically just try to kill time until it was time for the next one. Even watching shows is boring to me and the only thing I really wanna do is to play an intense video game. Another thing I had noticed is that I have a specific video game I like watching when I eat and once I’m done I cannot keep watching the same video. When I eat it’s interesting and when I don’t it’s boring. I used to have a lot of hobbies and many things I would like to do and now only food can stimulate that for me. Any idea what I can do?
