May unit update worth it for casual?

Hi!

New-ish player. I have no plans to ever play a tournament, just games t home with a few friends and my teenage kids. We're enjoying the game a lot. I noticed the updated unit cards and the idea of printing paper versions and pretty much updating 80% of what we own feel like a faff. I'm not against a faff if it makes things way better, but honestly, for a casual player, is it worth the trouble to not stick with the units as printed?
