Why does heartbreak make food taste like punishment?

After my last breakup, I tried to eat rice and stew, tell me why the stew was tasting like betrayal? 😭 Even Indomie that used to slap before now it tastes like regret and tears.

I watched romantic movies thinking it would help, but instead I ended up shouting “God abeg o” every 10 minutes.

My friend said, Time heals all wounds. But it’s been 3 weeks and I still hear his voice 😩
