Items being deleted/disappearing?

I'm trying to solo the ENO-6 Guardian, but I'm getting very frustrated. After dying once from my weapon breaking, I respawned and my stimpacks, all of them, were gone. I checked my Gatling Plasma's ammunition, I saw it was 375 (full). How ever when I started to shoot it immediately went to 0.
Does anybody know what is going on? Is it just some dogshit server?
