But you're dating one. Her name is Vyr. She's the greatest warrior in the land, and does mercenary work just for fun. The pay is a bonus. You two are headed back from a mission when a mysterious figure in tattered black robes approaches.

You: "Um... do you see this?"

Vyr: "What? You scared of weirdos?" Vyr cups a hand to her mouth. "Hey! What's your deal, bro?!"

Stranger: "I think you know who I am, Vyr." A scythe materializes in the stranger's hand.

Vyr: "Pfft. I've seen better magic at a child's birthday party."

You: "Vyr, that's Death! He's come for you!"

Death: "Correct. But not for you. I suggest you leave the area. Collateral damage is highly likely."

Vyr: "He's right. You don't wanna watch this time, bud."

You: "Are you... going to be okay?"

Vyr: "Ha! You think I'm afraid of this Halloween decoration?" Vyr notices that you're about to cry. Her demeanor immediately changes. "Oh, you." She grabs the back of your head and briefly presses her forehead against yours. "Just remember me, okay?"

This is the last time you'll see her.
