Is my career plan practical?
Hello folks,
I need some reality check on my career plan. Feel free to criticize, guide or provide any information.
I (29M) currently working in software field in Europe. I have a masters degree in IT and overall 6-7 years of experience. The pay and life is good here but, the reality is that I will have to move to my gome country in couple of years. There are IT jobs in my home country but not in my home town.
I have a parental house which is big enough to accommodate my parents, me and my wife and future kids. I wish to work remotely forever from my home town as a software developer but earn European salaries. I am flexible to learn any niche tech that allows full remote work along with high pay. E.g. I am learning Rust language. I can already do full stack development e.g. react, Java, pyhton, SQL. My unique skills are that I can communicate effectively and understand European mindset of working, and can work in a startip environment.
I don't want to live in big city and start the same cycle of saving money, buying house again. My parents already did it for me and have a head start in life if I stay in my home town. Also, I will save a lot of expenses if I live in my home town. Nearest city woth IT jobs is 250km from my home town.
How is the plan? Happy to provide more details.
