WHAT is this sea of stars bullshit

I log into infinity after what feels like 2 days because of how annoying this game can be. new update. ok. takes like 25 minutes to download. wow, big update. ok. the loading screen looks like the initial prologue but with a new dress, so i assume new gacha dresses came out. what i don't assume is by entering, i unconsciously accept to be gridlocked into some dumbass quest instead of wearing my pretty little outfits.

i've literally never played a gacha game that forces you to do what seems like a drunkenly written storyline filled with purple prose on startup. if there's something big, they tell you, but give you a CHOICE in the matter. Just like all the other event quests, why can't I choose what I do?

i've seen a lot of people venting about other matters about the game, mostly the rigging of the gacha systems. i will admit i've spent a little more then i originally wanted to on dresses, but for most of the events, i've managed to resist. i was happy i didn't put my total faith into the game, mostly just liking the adventure and dress up portion. but this is actually ridiculous. i don't care if they're reinventing the prologue or whatever this is. let me do what i WANT. it is my GOD-GIVEN right to walk around looking like a princess, and i will DAMNED if it's denied from me today.
