7mo needs to be held to go to sleep
My 7mo always wants to be held for naps & bedtime, but naps are especially annoying. I've had to lower her crib at 5 months due to her climbing & standing up, she knows how to crawl so I can't just lay her down and she just cries herself to sleep exhausted. She has to sleep on her front, if she goes onto her back her eyes ping open like a hawk that sees a mouse & grapples my clothing to make sure i dont let her go. Plus She only naps for 30mins, so by the time I put her down alseep, she's up in 10mins. The lowering of the crib is really difficult as I'm short, so transition isnt smooth sometimes. PLEASE SEND HELP!
sorry for long post, but I'm really worried as I'm going back to work in 2 months, & the thought of her just crying her eyes out because no one can hold her to sleep/naps really upsets me. But the child minder will have other children so can't just look after mine.
I have tried the pick up, out down method, chair method, I won't do the CIO method. She's the type to make herself vom rather then give up. Stubborn like me really.. but I need help in how to get her to self soothe?!
