Be more self aware (context in body text)

Firstly, am not sorry if i offend someone but I've been on this sub for quite long and i think these kinda posts are increasing day by day.

So, each day i come across someone posting about getting harassed (majority are F) by a total stranger on reddit. Then they put it on any sub , and frown over it.

But i dont understand this simple thing. You're the person who accepted the request. So you gotta deal with the consequences right???? Why are you behaving like only the person texting you is at fault? You're responsible too right?? You're giving them chance and they're utilising it.

Turn off dms or simply dont accept them if you cant deal with consequences. If you DO accept and that turns out to be offending , kindly inform the Mods about it PERSONALLY. That person will get banned. If you think you can stop a "sexually abusive creep" just by posting about them, YOU'RE SIMPLY WRONG! Even if you block them, they'll come back with another account.

If you dont wanna miss the oppertunity to meet genuine people, accept the request at your own risk. But in case it turns out to be a wrong decision, then kindly blame your decision. You cant change someone else's nature, so may be change your ways to deal with people.

Your safety is in your own hands . Ya'll are 18+ bruh. Learn to handle your own problems.Be a bit responsible. Hope ya'll understand.
