How to incorporate lemon flavour into Ermine frosting?

I want to make lemon flavoured Ermine frosting fresh lemons

I also plan on dyeing the frosting too so if I were to add lemon zest into the frosting, it would be visible. Which is something I do not want

What would be the best way to incorporate the lemon flavour?
