Baby doesn’t want solids after milk, just before.

So LO is 7 and a half months old. We started solids around 5 months after milk. After a month and a half of no success we started offering him solids first and then milk, success. We’ve been feeding him like this since then but now I found out that you’re supposed to offer him milk first until 10 months. He still doesn’t want solids if I give him milk first. If I offer him solids he eat that and then has no problem with drinking the milk as well… I’m not sure what to do.
