When will American Express Cards in India start onboarding new applicants?

Hi folks, I have been waiting to apply for my 1st Amex card which will be the Amex Platinum Travel card.

But unfortunately they are not accepting any new applicants.

Does anyone in this community have idea on when they will start onboarding new applicants?

I have a foreign trip coming up next where I will cover 6 countries together, have the amex card will be helpful for me.

Another one I am eyeing for is the Axis Atlas but I don't book flights/hotels directly from the website, usually I use travel agencies like Makemytrip, Easemytrip, Yatra, etc.

Having the Amex Travel card will help I guess. Not sure how long should I wait for this...
