Looking to Pivot my Graphic Design Career

Asking Question (Rule 4)

Hey everyone,

I've been working as an in-house graphic designer for about six years now. While I'm grateful for the experience I've gained, I'm starting to feel stuck. There's not much upward mobility where I am and I'm thinking about pivoting to something new.

I have a design degree and a solid foundation in visual communication, print and digital design, and branding. I'm just wondering what roles or career paths I could realistically pivot into with my current skills?

I'd love to build on what I already have, not start from scratch.

That being said, I've considered getting a masters degree in something like data analytics or marketing, but I don't want to commit unless it will actually help me leverage my design background and improve my earning potential.

I'm open to other suggestions too, whether it's going back to school, getting a certification, or exploring other job titles that build off of my design experience.

I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has successfully transitioned into something new or anyone who might have ideas I haven't thought of.

Thanks!
