Downgrading to 2025.5 butchered windows network settings

After downgrading to 2025.5 from 2025.6 I can no longer connect to the router. Uninstalling the desktop app fails, but restores internet connection. Is there anywhere a tutorial on how to manually perform a clean uninstall?

It somehow allows me to connect to a wifi network, but I cannot ping the router. In ipconfig no gateway is shown, otherwise everything looks normal. Manually assigning gateways also does not work.
