Visiting Awana near Genting

I am a tourist considering visiting Chin Swee temple and then going to Awana forest to hike. I am not interested in the resorts or casino.

Am I correct that you can use the Awana Skyway cable car for these?

Also, can you please tell me about hiking in Awana if I am not a resort guest.

• Is the tour by Trek the same as the tour (Genting Nature Experience) with Resorts World Awana? As in, they have an agreement/affiliation?
• Is it worth booking a guided tour, or should I just purchase entry and do it myself?
• Are there multiple guided tours per day? It says start at 9am, but only takes 2 hours.
