Do I need antibiotics after a pulpotomy and filling?

I am a 60 year old with no history of valve disease or replacement or congenital heart disease and I just had an hour long procedure of pulpotomy and filling and the doctor prescribed augmentin for 3 days starting after the procedure. Do I need it?
