Official VOTV Updater

Hello again whoever saw me get my account nuked;

I uh managed to piss off reddit by posting links on a fresh account;

Anyways;;

I'm working on an updater/launcher for you guys, that will tremendously cut down the download size of a new build if you already have one installed, have built in system specs export functionality to provide in bug reports (not yet available, coming with new updater version), stuff like that;

Currently it's a windows .NET 8 program, however the upcoming version will add native linux support to standalone patches, perhaps a CLI tool alternative (if i manage to write one) to do the job of the GUI app (download/apply patches automagically).

The windows app is proprietary and NOT open-source, however the CLI tool will be completely open (as I plan to make it a simple .sh file you can run)

Upcoming build will feature:

• - Removal of >!forbiddens!<;

• - Aforementioned system specs export (windows only);

• - Native linux support for standalone patches;

• - Native linux CLI tool (maybe);

• - About a 10x speed increase in update applying (needs more testing to provide more useful number but so far a 082b_0016 > 082c_0011 patch time was cut from ~80s to ~8s)

• - ~50% patch size reduction (smaller size savings on smaller patches)

Sorry for the wall of text, feel free to grab the tool off the official votv site (not the itch one, I'm not posting another link I'll get nuked), or wait for the new version (very soon);
