Las Americas Casa de Playa Hotel-Feedback?

Traveling here at the end of June with my 2 kids. Does anyone have any feedback about this specific hotel? Planning on staying close to the pool and visiting the walled city during the day. I’m reading in this chat that Cartagena is not the best for kids. While I can’t cancel my flight, I can cancel my hotel and stay in another city. Thanks in advance.
