Claims process

I’m really curious how the VA processes claims. I submitted a dependent claim for my son born two weeks ago. It was done in 3 days but I see people waiting almost a year. I also submitted a disability claim on April 10th and I’m still in step 3 but I see a ton of people on here that submitted in April and their claims are almost done.
