Bumukod pero hindi kinaya financially

I’d like to know the point of view of parents if anyone went through this: Noong nag decide bumukod ang anak niyo with their spouse, and few months later, lumapit sa inyo, asking kung pwede pa ba sila bumalik sa puder niyo, what did you feel? Do you see them as failure for asking this favor?

Context: A month after moving-in sa apartment, nag cancel ang client, 3 months unemployed, naubos ang savings, nabenta na ang mga valuables. Nakahanap din ng full-time na trabaho, pero sa corporate na at di na ganoon kalaki ang sahod gaya noon. Nagbabayad din ng utang, madalas, kulang pa ang sweldo from new work. Hindi pa successful sa job-hunting journey (ulit) para sana may part-time.

Ang reason ng utang ay living expenses and medications sa 3 buwan na walang work. Hindi sugal, hindi travel, or unecessary things.
