Deposited Provera and Type 2 Diabetes

A few days ago I received my depo shot. An hour after my blood sugar dropped to 40. I mentioned the drop to my doctor and she doesn't believe it had anything to do with the shot. I asked how it could be anything else since it was the only thing that was different, but she remained unconvinced. I tried looking online for info. There are articles that talk about hormones affecting blood sugar but I wasn't able to find anything that covered the depo shot specifically. She wants me to come back in on Monday before she'll give me Ozempic due to the drop. I'mkind of hoping to have something to show her or at the very least, hear from others who have had similar experiences so I can feel less crazy over here lol
