U.K advice

Hey everyone, just reaching out to see if anyone is based in Manchester or the U.K in general and who’d be open to giving me some advice? Just over on a two year work visa from Australia and wondering if there’s much work out there for carpenters that wouldn’t require me to get fully kitted up with power tools again or whether I should just be looking for some labour work while I’m over here? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
