Went from a 2023 Mazda3 to a $7K budget

Hey, had to sell my 2023 Mazda3 after some financial trouble, and now I have budget about $7,000 CAD to find a reliable used SUV that can handle Canadian winters.

Not driving more than ~12,000 km/year. I’ve been looking at 2014–2015 Hyundai Tucsons but open to other solid options. Buying from a private seller.

Any suggestions or red flags I should know about? Appreciate the help!
