How to do 4 Mile - Panorama - Mist?

So my family is going to Cali for 9 days, 2 of which will be purely driving, so we have allocated 2 days to Yosemite. Unfortunate, I know but I have set my mind on doing the 4 mile + Panorama + Mist trails. My first question is whether to go up 4 mile first or to go up Mist trail first? We will likely stay in Curry Village though IDK if that's relevant. The internet seems to be 50/50 on this topic. I would prefer to go up the many switchbacks first thing if that's the hardest part of the hike. But I want to get the best views and take good pictures and so is that possible at the end of the day at the falls?

Also we will have to drive into Yosemite that morning so I was wondering if anyone has recommendations on what is the latest time one should start this hike? I would prefer to start it 6:30 AM or earlier but we're going to have to drive ~2 hours from near Sequoia into Yosemite so we might have to start at 7 or 8. :(

We will likely begin our drive out of Yosemite and do some shorter hikes with the family along with seeing and maybe swimming in Tenaya lake the next day so doing the hike on our second day is not really viable.
