Discussion About Wesker.

Now I have been playing DBD for over 6 years, and I've played mostly killer cuz I enjoy learning a lot of the killers and one of the killers that I have probably enjoyed so much that I couldn't stop playing for a long time is Wesker, now Wesker is easily the most beloved killer in the game to play as and to play against by far, and I did eventually take a break from him cuz I've wanted to try other killers that have recently come out or have been changed in the last year or two after Wesker's release, and I still play a lot of Wesker to this day and I'm still enjoying him and I plan to get him to p100 while right now I put Wesker on hold for now cuz Springtrap is coming out next week.

However I think the whole discussion on Wesker's placement on a Tier List is quite bizarre imo, now am I saying Wesker is an S Tier killer, absolutely not, however before his Infection when Tunneling off hook got nerfed which needed to happen, Wesker I used to rate him like Top 4, 5 or 6 Strongest Killers in the game, but with the nerf, he has gone down a bit in the Tier List and with some new releases that are made stronger than Wesker such as Dracula and Kaneki as an example, I still think Wesker is a very strong A Tier killer around killers like Oni and Pyramid Head imo, and I think the ones that think he's B Tier are straight up just not that good with him imo, ik that might seem like a Hot take but I think it's one of those things where like people nowadays I think people are going a bit softed on him, sure he's played a lot and people have gone against him so much to understand him, but a good Wesker even when he's not doing the hug techs, rebounds, etc.

Wesker still has pretty solid mobility with a great anti-loop ability plus still good slowdown that people need to get rid of, and some people claim to say that Wesker's infection isn't worth shit, are dead wrong, 4% hindered might not be as impactful as his previous 8% hindered effect was, but being hindered can still put you in a bad situation cuz your slower, and you can be instadown by a Wesker with his power or his Iridescent add-on where you start off infected and become exposed after you become fully infected, and Wesker especially if he's good urobending you can possibly put survivors in a position where they will die if they get injured and zoned when he throws a survivor and I think many people over exaggerate Wesker's add-on saying a lot of them are bad, I think is just wrong, yeah he has a few add-ons that are terrible like Maiden medallion, Green herb, Loose Crank, portable safe, etc, but most of his Add-ons are very solid like his 2 iris are very strong, VCD, and Egg are good, unicorn medallion is very strong, his cooldown add-on is a decent effect, etc, and some other add-ons like Helicopter stick and bullhorn for a great combo with certain builds, Jewel beetle add-on which is meme, but it's a pretty slepted on add-on cuz Wesker while he's able to throw more often but he gets his power back sooner after he throws which is why if people are good at urobending, Jewel beetle can be pretty solid.

Now again, I think many people over exaggerate how much Wesker has been power creeped, and i think he's a bit stronger than people give him credit for, he's kinda like in an Unknown situation, where Unknown is kinda easy to go against until you face a good Unknown, same thing with Wesker imo, a good Wesker is very strong and has quite a lot of things going for him, now I'm not denying that he's been power creeped or saying that I think he's still a Top 5 or 6 killer, especially since now Dracula and Kaneki are in the game but i think if a good Wesker that knows what their doing, I think he still has decently high potential but not to the extent of where Dracula and Kaneki are at, cuz I rate him roughly around Oni and Pyramid Head imo, which is like around Top 9 to Top 12 strongest killers imo, which might be a Hot Take, but it's definitely not a bad take.
