Cancel order, but want buyer to get 'not paid orders+1'

Not sure if my title makes sense. But someone reserved a card from me(was in unpaid since the 8th), but they just asked to cancel cause they already found it elsewhere. If I agree to cancel will the seller get the 'not paid orders +1'? And if not how do I make sure they get it?
