Porting Shadowlands Customisation to WotLK

Shadowlands introduced a bunch of player customisations, is it possible to do a model swap from the SL client to WotLK? I saw some guides to swap trees and NPC races from one to another, but none touched taking a model from an expansion after WoD and putting it into the game. For example I would like to swap out a hairstyle from one introduced in SL.
