Is it possible to get an Ausbildung in Mechatronics engineering as a non EU citizen in Germany at 25 years old and while holding a National Certificate in Machineshop engineering from Zimbabwe?

I am currently working on my German and I just had to do some research. So my question is I have a national Certificate in Machineshop engineering from Zimbabwe and am waiting for my Class 1 Journeyman card as a Fitter including machining so can I qualify for an Ausbildung in Mechatronics as a career change and how is the market looking for people in this trade?
