Can anyone help me identify or get more info on this piece.

Hey guys,

I was born in Switzerland, but grew up in the States. I just inherited this piece. On the one side it's just a typical Valcambi but the other side seems to be commemorative, but I can't figure out what for.

I've done some digging and can't find anything. Can anyone figure it out?
