Explain this to me like I’m 5
As I’m sure most of you have been, I have been trying to keep up with all the changes and legislation regarding the repayment of student loans.
Currently, I have student loans in my own name under the SAVE plan administrative forbearance that I am riding out. Is it best to ride out the save forbearance for the foreseeable future or change to another plan?
In addition to loans in my own name, I also have a double consolidated parent plus loan that is currently also in SAVE forbearance. I am looking for guidance for what would be the best choice for this loan because I am reading that the new Bill will make it difficult for this loan to get uncertain income based repayment plans.
Any guidance for either of these loan situations would be greatly appreciated. I feel so lost.
