Employee family owned bakery not receiving tips

Employment Law

Location: Canada

Heyy! So I work at this desserterie owned by this kind Lebanese family. They pay me a bit under student wage because it’s under the table but I was wondering whether I had the right to ask about a tip pool or not? Every shift I have I’d say I make at least 15 extra dollars for the bakery in tips when I specifically serve and ring up a customer (some even looking directly at me when putting money in the little pot we have beside the register), I know I’m not legally an employee and still underage (17) but I feel like my boss puts me through enough shit about slacking off (as in the bakery is empty and I’ve already cleaned everything so I scribble on a piece of paper for fun) while letting their kids who are supposed to be working sit on their phones in the back. I worry that I’ll get scolded for asking about receiving some of the tip money because it’s not union but i feel like I have a right to some of it considering how low my pay is? How should I go about it? Should I just drop it?
