Boyfriend said he was home when he wasn’t answering my calls or texts. He was NOT home
I need some advice. I have been dating this guy for about three weeks. He is five years younger than me. We are officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Yesterday, I told him that it bothered me that he doesn’t plan things with me in advance and that when he doesn’t do that, I just go ahead and make plans with my friends anyway which means I cannot see him. He was like that’s fine baby. Go plan with your friends, and then you can always ask me to come along and I’ll come if I’m available? That seems so weird to me. He is an Aquarius.
Anyway, last night, I was getting dinner with my friends and I happen to be close to his side of town so after I was done, I called him and there was no answer. Which is really weird. I called him again, goes to voicemail after ringing several times. Then I sent him a message. Hey, where are you? And I sent one more message. Then I went ahead and drove past his place which was on my way home, thinking that his car would be there. It was not there I was shocked.
For the next two weeks, he is watching the dogs. Basically he has dogs with his ex and she is on vacation with her boyfriend so he goes over to the rental property to sleep each night so then that way the dogs have company and don’t tear the place up. That rental place is right by my house within five minutes so on the way home, I was like OK, he’s probably at the Rental house. Let me just stop by to see him. Learn and behold, his car is not there. I called a couple more times, it just continued to ring and then went to voicemail.
This morning, I woke up to a text message from him that said “Good morning baby, please call me when you get a chance.” I was actually still sleeping at the time that I got the text so I didn’t respond and I noticed that he called a total of five times. Then he sent me another text message saying “there is no way you’re still in bed.” I didn’t really know what to say, so I took a little while to call him back and then I called him back.
I don’t remember exactly how the conversation played out, but I said to him I tried calling you last night, he was like yeah, I saw a period. I was like where were you? He was like I was sleeping. I didn’t hear your calls while I was sleeping. I didn’t tell him the fact that I drove past and did not see his car. He continued to tell me that he was at the rental place with the dogs and fell asleep and that’s why he missed my call. I know for a fact that this is not true And I didn’t say anything at the time, but I feel like he is lying to me about this.
