You don’t actually see reality. You only see what your brain allows you to notice. Your eyes take in everything around you — colors, faces, objects, light, movement but your brain doesn’t process all of it. It decides what matters to you, and then it edits out the rest. That decision is based on one thing: the version of yourself that your subconscious believes you are.

This means your entire experience of life is filtered through your identity. If your identity says, “I am someone who always gets ignored,” then your subconscious will literally block out any moments where someone did pay attention to you. You might forget it happened, or not even notice it at all. If your identity says, “I am someone who is successful,” your subconscious will start making you notice all the moments that confirm that. Not because they weren’t there before, but because now your brain sees them as relevant.

So most of your physical reality is not actually missing, it’s just being ignored. You’re not trying to make new things appear from nothing. You’re trying to see what’s already available, but currently filtered out. Your subconscious is the one deciding what comes through, and it does that by checking what you keep repeating about yourself, through your self-talk, assumptions, and dominant state.

That’s why when you say, “I want this,” or “I wish I had that,” your subconscious assumes you are the version of you who doesn’t have it. And it filters your world to match. Even if something is right in front of you that could help you get it or prove it’s already yours, your brain will skip it. Not out of cruelty, but because it sees it as irrelevant to your current identity.

The only way to change this filter is by changing the identity it’s working from. That means deciding: “This is who I am now.” Not waiting for proof. Not looking for signs. But locking in that you are already the version of you who has the desire. Once your subconscious accepts this new version, it changes the lens. Your brain starts allowing in different pieces of information. Things you used to miss will now stand out. You’ll notice new options, new chances, new results because now they match the new self-image.

This is why consistency is everything. You’re not trying to fight the 3D. You’re not trying to force reality. You’re just reprogramming the gatekeeper — your subconscious — so it opens up a different version of the world for you. It doesn’t take effort. It takes repetition. Keep feeding it the new identity until that’s the one it believes. Once it does, it starts filtering your world through that version — and what you experience will finally begin to match it.

What you assume is real becomes what your brain shows you. That’s not a quote — it’s how your system works. Change the assumption, and you literally change what part of reality you’re allowed to see and live in.
