I love how Blair's mother Monica is portrayed as a really nice person.

I feel like so many shows and movies that have rich characters have them have mothers who are super snooty and cold. Monica Warner though is not that kind of person. While she is sort of snooty, it's more for how expressive she is.

What I always loved about her is that she doesn't look down on Blair's friends even though they're not in the same rich class as she is. She even comes across as acting like a mother to them as well. She's very sociable with them and to Mrs Garrett. This includes Jo and her parents who Monica also gets along with. It makes you feel for her when she gets pregnant again and expresses her reluctance. She felt scared and unsure how well she can do it. Because she is close with Blair who acknowledges how she wasn't the perfect mother during her upbringing, she still felt that Monica could do it and offered to help.

I just really enjoy her character and really love how she isn't portrayed as the stereotypical rich snobby mother. RIP to the actress.
