Free Roam Question

1. I know the concept of free roam is to ehhh free roam but is there anyway to easily see what you have completed and what is left to do 2. I know the "P" switches go "grey" when you have successfuly completed the P mission 3. I know when you hover over parts of the map you can see the blocks you have hit Are there any other ways I am missing?
