How would you do a scene with a tired/stressed out sub? (I wanna spoil him)

So my favorite Sub and I will be meeting again after a few couple weeks of being busy with our own stuff.

I js got back from vacation while he just finished a stressful period at university (we're both students).

I was just wondering if anyone has any recommendations how we can engage in a play that wouldn't be too exhausting for him, but still be dominating enough that he'd enjoy it?

Honestly I js want to spoil and cuddle him when we check-in but I'm sure he has some expectations since it's been a long time since we last met.
