Why does it feel like buyers are nervous to pull the trigger right now?
Hey y’all, I’ve been noticing that even with pricing stabilizing and actually decreasing in many metros of Texas, a lot of folks seem hesitant to actually buy right now. I work with several first time homebuyers and young professionals that choose to rent one more year until buying. I’m curious what others think:
👉 Is it interest rates? 👉 Prices still feel too high? 👉 Unsure about the future economy? 👉 or something else?
Many I work with are renting or holding off on buying, I’d love to hear your take. What conditions are you looking for to jump in? One of my theories is when rates drop, many will pile back into the market which could drive competition and prices higher.
I’d love to know what conditions have to be met to give you the buy signal?
