BLV 143 lab exam

I’ve never done a lab exam and the lab instructors are being too general when anyone asks questions about the exam. I know they’re hard markers, I’ve literally been writing A+ answers and getting low B marks back. Any tips or advice? Except for the lab component I’m doing good in the course but I’m really worried about the lab exam bringing my average down by a lot
