Tips/Tricks

I have been using several apps because I love data, but I just can’t find one that has both the data and easy usability I’m looking for. I’m barely almost 2 weeks in and I’m really looking for an app that can do it all, so if you have recs, please give them! So far, these are my fav:

  1. Shotsy— I did end up buying the subscription. While I don’t think it’s necessary, I do like monitoring my symptoms on there and then also seeing the trend of the estimate levels of drug compared to how I feel. It’s pretty straightforward and I love that you can customize.
  2. ZOZOFIT— this one does whole body scans for measurements. It has reminders for check in scans, goals based on measurements. You can compare from scan to scan, which is a cool feature. I am also doing measurements by hand to test for accuracy, and it’s not bad I have to say. It struggles most with my chunky neck and thighs. It also has the option for AI food scanner in the paid version. I use the food scanner when I can’t count my macros, like at a work lunch, etc. The built in food logging with this sucks though. It has like no database.
  3. MacroFactor— I use this for logging all food. I feel like this has the easiest way to log. It has a “strategy” tab which does check ins on a several day basis and will adjust your macros based on your progress. It also gives info about your weight, goals, and estimates average weight loss daily regardless of actual scale fluctuation. I can see this being a little frustrating moving forward because it doesn’t give much trending on actual weight, just estimated weight based on the data you input.

I downloaded the MeAgain app, but you have to pay for it and I don’t want to do that without being able to trial it.

Again, if anyone has any other recs, I’d love to hear them!
