Please don't "casualize" the game

Discussion

The current and potential (though not completely confirmed) changes to surgical kits (and other mechanics) start to feel like the game is "casualizing". Now Surgical kits don't bring back limbs partially-but fully, they gave them healing to try give them more relevance even though the 8/8 and 4/4 kits were used well due to their balance of health return, cost, and charges to storage ratio - now it doesn't matter, or atleast as much as it was. Now in the beta for S2 you can run with BROKEN legs WITHOUT painkillers and operate on your legs while MOVING?

I'm not arguing for "Realism", I'm arguing for authenticity - a feeling, a sensation. Ripping a bullet and fixing up a broken limb while rounds are whizzing overhead, charging an enemy and surviving on a shread of HP, wiping several competent opponents and living to tell the tale are the reasons I want to play extraction shooters at all - ADRENALINE. A feeling, like others, that game devs put so much effort to try to make you feel a certain way.

Comfort is one thing, UI and balanced game mechanics are very important. But the changes I talked about earlier along side other ones takes away from the game generating intensivity, and alot emotional investment that I, and potentially others, put in this game and others like it.

I love this game, but with the player base being spread so thin with so many gamemodes that take away from the actual game, combined with these changes make me feel unsure about the future of this game.

I want to play Arena breakout for it's PVP, weapon customisation, and high stakes high reward - adrenaline high gameplay and anti cheater enviroment, but if these trends continue, this game might not make it to a steam release with any players still left, or any players that will stay even if it releases

I'm not a game dev. But as a player, a customer, in effect - a free advertiser, I feel like changes should be done. As for my personal suggestions:

•Revert the surgical kit system to its original state, to give the higher tier kits a purpose and make extended gunfights not feel pointless, as your opponent can't heal off everything.

•Remove or make alternate gamemodes HEAVLIY limited, for only a few days or even once a week, or even once a month. This an EXTRACTION shooter, not Cod, splitting up your player base will only make people playing the regular extraction mode leave due to lack of real players.

•Increase general loot spawns on common containers, and more valuable loot in safes. People rat our of a necessity because they dont have much, and farming is slower than in EFT, due to receiving less available loot per Container. This will makes players more willing to fight others by having more money for equipment, and will make players more willing to go to Hotspots and fight because there will be a good payoff and a purpose.

I care about this game, as a player and a fan, and I'm worried that the game that proved that extraction shooters don't have to be hostile to newcomers like EFT and that is actively making efforts at fighting cheaters and and had its devs listen to the community for feedback - might die from a chain of a few poor decisions that had appealed to no one, and destroyed the game's original premise as a hardcore tactical extraction shooter.

Please devs, I care, we care. Don't casualize the game, Please don't kill our game.
