Ppl who removed family link

So for anyone who removed family link through the "graduation" method where you receive an email at 13 ( or 16 or whatever age in Ur country) and choose "take control of my account and stop supervision without your parents permission, What was their reaction. I've heard some ppl say that their parents forced another Google account onto their phones that had a fake age, but if your parents didn't do that, what happened?
