How much do you personally *want* Bandits for gameplay reasons?

How much do you want Bandits for gameplay reasons, and not "because they promised them"?

Am I alone in feeling like bandits would be a terrible addition to the zombie game? I'm here to fight hordes of zombies, not get shot at by random bandits. It honestly sounds absolutely awful and would likely kill the game for me

NPCs would be fine, like settlers who move into areas if you clear them or could hang out at your base and stuff would be okay, but personally, I would gladly have them add 100 new zombies over any amount of bandits with guns, because this is a zombie game . . .
