Me and my partner have a boveda at home, I was told to only have one?

Had a Babalow come to my house to feed shango at the door and he told me we cannot have 2 bóvedas at home, only 1. So who’s boveda stays? Mine or my partners ? Do we both pray to 1 boveda? Bit confused now.
