[M4F] Dad Day

You’d always been close to your dad. Going on adventures, hanging out and just being the classic daddies girl. After college though you moved away, you’d grown apart, talked less, and saw him even less. As soon as you got what you wanted out of the job you landed, you’d be back though. Back to being attached to his hip. That wouldn’t happen though. The next time you saw him, 2 years ago, was at the funeral.

Devastated, you’d stayed away. Nearly vowing to never go back home. Then the memories started coming back more, and the need for him greater. Yet, he wasn’t there. With this years Fathers Day having just passed, you felt even worse. So you decided to do something you almost didn’t want to do, reach out to your older brother who still lived back home.

It was simple, even though you didn’t like him that much, you two would celebrate “Dad Day”. More than a day though, it would be a week long camping trip doing the things you both had loved doing when he was around. Camping, hikes, fishing, swimming and much more.

You hated your brother though, and he wasn’t exactly a big fan of you. Being more than a few years apart in age had always made things difficult when it came to getting along. He’d also gotten more time with your dad. Even if it wasn’t his fault, you still resented him some.

But this weekend was all a way to maybe fix some of that, and also remember. So, you called him up, told him your idea and he agreed. Knowing the spots you’d grown up camping had only grown more popular, you both decided to try a new spot out. One far way from people, a spot that gives you two the privacy to argue if needed.

The day had come, and you meet in a parking lot that was a mile walk from the proposed camping spot. It had been a year since you’d seen each other and it was already a tense moment of anticipation for just how exactly the weekend would go……

Hi! I’m looking for a long term partner to play this out and see what happens. Do we fight and have a bad time? Do we slowly get along and become closer than ever? I have a semi wrote out DPP profile if you want to know more about me before starting. I’m most available during the week, and fairly on/off on weekends. I say that as I post on a weekend. So, I do ask that we’re both open about our schedules. I’m also more than open to chatting OOC, especially since I prefer to get along with whoever I’m talking to.
