I'm done with attars, switching to perfumes exclusively.

I get that the "range" of attars is supposed to be less, but after at least 3 hours of applying it the person standing literally next to me should smell it. They don't. Tried the ones from most reputated shops like Ajmal, MLR etc. They DO NOT last even 6 hours, let alone the claimed 8 hours.

Engage lasts longer than this.

I think attars are only for the ones who like the style of it perhaps.

IMO attars cannot be used as a "signature fragrence" as you know...the other person needs to be able to smell it. Not everyone is going to stick their nose to your wrist or neck or shirt.
