The AI in this game is brutal.

A few days ago, I was on the last system of my run and fought a nasty bout with some blood cultists. I had lost a husk or two, but I was about to win. Their sheilds were down, their hull was at two health, and their only remaining crew was a blood knight.

I sat back to watch the final moment of victory. However, that evil bastard jumped over to my ship and took over my priest with his mind control just as my final shots were going off. My priest then teleported my commander over to the enemy ship just in time for my shots to slam into the hull and destroy it.

Run over. That fuckin' savage.
