Insurance Rates for Hit and Run

Hello there. My car was parked outside of my house, and someone hit and ran. I am going to a shop on Monday to get a quote on the damage, but I’m guessing anywhere between 3,500 to 7,000 since something like this has happened to it before.

If a not at fault accident has happened to you, how much was the damages and how much did your insurance rates go up?

Obviously this is extremely specific to each case and person but I have no idea what to expect.
