Disarming Shot chances on Temporal Fugue Clones?

Hey, new player here.

Anyone know how exactly the chance for Disarming Shot to disarm is calculated involving purposely shooting at Companions?

I ask because, if it turns out there IS a chance to knock weapons out of my clones by doing this, i could do something Really funny involving one of the artifacts i have
